1. Will my seat covers fit well?
Custom seat covers are specially designed and developed to fit your seats perfectly. These made to measure seat covers are created with high-quality material and they are tailored using the exact year, make and model measurements that are obtained from the automobile maker and then fed to the computer for the designing. And this is why they fit so well. These covers are perfect for vehicles with on seat controls as they are made to accommodate them wonderfully. Custom seat covers even allow space for the side impact airbags too if your vehicle has them
2. What is the difference between a custom seat cover and a semi-custom seat cover?
This difference can be explained if you take a custom seat cover as a tailor-made suit, and a semi-custom seat cover as an off the rack suit. A suit which is made using exact measurements of the client's whole frame, taking every contour, curve and length into account is tailor made suit. Likewise, our custom seat covers will fit over your car seats precisely, leaving access to every feature, seatbelts and other seat-mounted controls.
Now let’s take the example of an off the rack suit that will fit your frame, but not as well as a tailored suit. Off the rack suits are tailored following a set of patterns, and these patterns are taken from average measurements of similarly sized bodies this is exactly like the semi-custom seat covers. They will fit your seats as well as any other car, truck, SUV and van seats. A rule of thumb is that a semi-custom seat cover will fit about 80% as well as a full custom seat cover.
3. What if I have side impact air bags on my seats?
New features are added by auto manufacturers to make it safer to drive the automobile. Side impact airbag is one such safety feature that is mounted directly on the side of your car seat. These airbags protect your head from hitting your window in case of a door jam during an accident.
So if you do have side impact airbags, you must get custom seat covers as they are manufactured to accommodate side impact airbags. They cover your seats without blocking the airbags.
4. Are seat covers difficult to install?
The covers are not at all difficult to install. Most of our wide range of seat covers are silde-ons. These covers have Velcro, hooks or straps to hold them in their place that are under the seat and are out of sight. And you will not need any tool to install them as well. However it is easier to install the covers in the front seats than the rear seats. This is because the front seats are more easily accessible. A typical installation of front seat covers requires 20-30 minutes. Rear seat cover installation may need you to remove the seats. However it can be done once you refer to the enclosed detailed instructions.
5. How do I clean my seat covers?
Our seat covers are made from a wide range of fibers and hence there are several different ways to make them clean. To keep them clean form debris, dirt, dust, dry spills you can vacuum your seat covers at regular. Most of the seat covers can be cleaned in a washing machine.
6. Which seat covers give me the most protection against water and moisture?
